In addition to the WHA,
Bill Malkasian is the president of the Wisconsin
REALTORS® Association. Bill holds a bachelor's
degree in political science from the University of
Wisconsin and completed a six-year association education
program and management designation sponsored at Notre
Dame University by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He has
also attained, for over 20 years, the designation CAE (Certified Association Executive). In
2001, he received the William R. Magel Award of
Excellence given by the National Association of
REALTORS®
from his 1,200 peers in the association management
community. Only 16 other individuals have been awarded
this prestigious award. In 2003, Bill was recognized by
REALTOR® Magazine as one of the 25 most
influential people in the real estate community in
America. In June of 2004, Madison Magazine
named Bill as a statewide leader in Wisconsin real
estate. Bill has actively represented the Wisconsin
REALTORS® Association on a national level by serving
on numerous committees and task forces. He has
served on the REALTORS® Political Action Committee,
Legislative Committee, Strategic Planning Committee
and most recently and served as vice-chair of the
National Association of REALTORS® Task Force on
Smart Growth. Within Wisconsin, Bill has served at
the governor's invitation on the Telecommunications
Task Force - reviewing Wisconsin's communications
infrastructure - and the Governor's Blue Ribbon
Commission on Jobs for the 21st Century. Most
recently, he was appointed to serve on the Wisconsin
Legislative Council Study Committee on Land Use.
Within the city of Madison, Bill has chaired the
Madison Central YMCA Board and the Dane County
Housing Authority. He has also been president of the
Madison Club. Bill has traveled all over the country
and internationally as an expert in the field of
association and public policy management. Bill lives
with his wife of 30 years, Cathy, in downtown
Madison during the week and on their farm in
southwest Wisconsin on the weekends.

Jeff began his real estate career in 1974 and is
presently broker/owner of Century 21 Affiliated in Beaver
Dam. Jeff was named the Local REALTOR® of the Year in
1985 and again in 1990. He served as the president of the
Dodge County Board of REALTORS® in 1985 and has served
as the chairman of the Dodge County Multiple Listing
Service since 1995. Jeff has served on various
committees at the state level including Public Policy,
License Law, Nominating and Strategic Planning. Jeff is
an active member of his local Chamber of Commerce and was
president in 1987 and 2001. He has served on the local
Public Relations and Central Business Revitalization
committees, and is the past secretary of the Dodge County
Fair Board and past president of the Beaver Dam Area
Development Corporation. Jeff's designations include GRI
and CRS, of which he was president in 1994. In
addition to real estate and community involvement, Jeff
has been an auctioneer for the past 20 years for
organizations across Wisconsin, including the United
Way, Hockey Unlimited, Ducks Unlimited, Wings Over
Wisconsin, Lutheran Youth Services, Wayland Academy
Parent Auction and a number of RPAC Auctions for various
Boards in Southern Wisconsin. Jeff is married to his
wife of 35 years, Shirley. They have two daughters, Dawn
and Dana, and a grandson Dylan. Dawn has her
doctorate and is a professor at Ohio State, and Dana is a
recent graduate of the University of Minnesota
in Minneapolis.

Terry Hilgenberg has 32 years experience as a
licensed broker in Wisconsin. He has over 30 years
of practical “hands on” experience listing and
selling real estate and managing a real estate
marketing organization, in addition to providing
auction, appraisal and consulting services. He has
a master’s degree in real estate from the University
of Wisconsin Graduate School of Business in Madison,

Matthew Miller has been a REALTOR® since 1988. He is
a former chairman of the Board for WRA (2002) and
past president of the Lakes Area Board (1991).
Presently, Matt is a director for NAR and is a
member of the Land Use, Property Rights and
Environment Committee at the national level. At the
WRA, he is a state director and has served or
chaired several committees and task forces for the
state REALTORS®. He was formerly a gubernatorial
appointee to the Wisconsin Land Council and a board
member of On Common Ground. Currently a member of
the South Central Wisconsin REALTORS® Association,
Matt sits on the Governmental Affairs Committee.
Matt is currently a manager with Stark Company
REALTORS® in Madison, Wisconsin. At Stark he manages
the Projects and Commercial Division for the
company. He has been active in community

Kitty Jedwabny served as the 2004-2005 Chairman of
the Board for the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association.
She is co-owner of Coldwell Banker, The Real Estate
Group in Appleton, Wisconsin, and owns a
construction company, J&S Homes, Inc. Besides
serving on the boards of numerous community
organizations, Kitty has also served the local,
state and national REALTORŇ organizations. Her
positions have included local director of the
REALTORSŇ Association of Northeast Wisconsin for 15

Mike Mulleady was born
in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and moved with his family
to St. Germain, Wisconsin, where the family ran a
small resort and his father started in real estate.
Mike attended Eagle River High School where he was
active in all sports, especially baseball and
football. He attended the University of
Wisconsin-Oshkosh where he studied business
administration and where he met his wife Pat. After
college he worked in the hotel industry for
approximately 16 years and moved around the country
14 times. Mike became a REALTOR® in 1994, and became
the manager of the company’s Rhinelander office in
1995. He received his GRI designation in 1999. Mike
has been on the board of directors for the Greater
Northwoods Association of REALTORS® since 1997 and
served as president in 2000-2001. Mike is currently
the general manager/broker for Coldwell Banker
Mulleady, Inc., REALTORS®’ six offices across
northern Wisconsin, with 90 agents. He has served on
numerous WRA committees and has served on the WRA
Executive Committee since 2005. Mike lives in
Minocqua with his wife Pat. They have one son,
Bryan, who is married.
